Outgrow The Blueprint

1 min read
A red vintage TV displays a crumpled blue poster on screen. Serif text below reads: "Outgrow — The Blueprint." The poster reads: "The system you built is the ceiling you hit."

For a long time, the blueprint made sense.

We designed things to look good, wrote to connect emotionally, and optimized for clicks. The system quietly observed, learned, and responded, and we built everything based on that unspoken understanding.

But things have changed.

Now, platforms that once just observed are starting to ask questions. Inboxes that used to simply deliver our work are now making decisions for us. The audience we designed for is now represented by systems that interpret our work in ways people never did.

The plan we've been following was made for a world that is still changing.

Hey! Sukari is about what comes next: designing for a time when attention is shaped by both people and technology. We need content systems that work for the humans who see them and for the systems that decide if they ever do.

Outgrow the blueprint.

Is there a plan or approach you're using that no longer works for you?

What I hope you take away from reading is reasons to stay curious or to test the perimeter around trends, things to keep on your radar, and reasons to embrace fresh takes on the classics. — See you next Wednesday, Sukari
